Golden Triangle

Every now and then, a song comes along that hits all the right buttons. You know when you were a little kid and your parents put on “Love Shack” by The B-52’s and, because you were a child, you couldn’t help but dance? It’s like that, except far more awesome.

That song for me lately is “Prize Fighter” by Golden Triangle. I hear it in my head whenever I’m not listening to it. From the droning male vocals at the bottom to the wonderful female vocals at the top to the driving power chords, I can’t get enough of it.

The Brooklyn group is fantastic. They’ve toured with the amazing King Khan and their self-titled album is one of the best of the year so far. They’ve also just been signed to Hardly Art and are working on recording a new album.
